LCP carry - Don't even notice it's there...

A problem that I sometimes have is remember that I'm carrying when I have to go to the County Emergency Management Department (where I volunteer and also work part-time). I need to leave the hardware home because the EM is in the same building as the Sheriff's Department and the County jail...

Scratch another one off the list!!

Without doing any web searching, I seem to recall the AR-7 being available in the late 1950's. It was a really unique item back then and still is in my opinion.

Scratch another one off the list!!

I've always wanted one of those rifles but not seriously enough to locate one or come up with the cash (though I've never seen one for sale). I'll be that this one will look better before long..... ;)

    Ruger LCP serial numbers

I agree with what Rich said. Ruger did make some changes to the LCP slide and the serial numbers lost the dash (-) at the same time.

    Brass collection

Keep reminding me from time to time and I'll get to it. My part-time job and moving snow have occupied most of my time lately. :P

I know it sounds like an echo, but that's a great looking job.....

    Brass collection

I've made a couple different styles of portable nets that I use at our outdoor range to catch pistol and rifle brass. I don't think either is really optimum for an indoor range situation but my smaller one could work if the netting were a bit looser. It's tucked away for the winter so I can't...

    The Bark-O Lounger

Even though the spelling doesn't work, the very same thing applies to a lot of our hobbies. :P

    The Bark-O Lounger

I had to look up the punch line for that one and must say that I agree with it. However, we won't print it here..... ::)

It would be easy to do a panoramic shot. The print could be used as wallpaper (and not on a computer).

    My current family

We should get all the members here together and make a picture of the whole family tree of firearms, including the long guns owned by the group.

Are there no grandparents or great grandparents in that family? ::)

    Cartridge laser pointers

Please don't believe that the pistol is really sighted in. It's simply bore-sighted. You still need to do live fire sighting in to prove where the pistol actually hits. It wouldn't surprise me if you find a significantly different impact point from what the bore-sighting laser indicates...

Question - trigger job on an older snub

Ray - I've used a LOT of heat shrink tubing over the years and I don't think you'll want to split the tubing lengthwise. It won't do what you want when you heat it. The best way to use heat shrink tubing would be to simply thread it onto the trigger very carefully and then heat it. Heat...
