Ruger LCP serial numbers

Ruger LCP Serial Numbers seem to have changed....

Some serial numbers dont have the dash between the numbers anymore...

For example what I expect to see is 379-XXXXX

Some have 371XXXXXX and were test fired within the last 30 days....

The origianal 371 series was made long ago......What is Ruger doing.... :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\

I think the NO. change came with the new slide with the higher sights and shorter trigger pull.

I agree with what Rich said. Ruger did make some changes to the LCP slide and the serial numbers lost the dash (-) at the same time.
