I agree. The Ruger will never wear out. I handload my rounds and I have put some HOT stuff in it and no problems whatsoever. Matter of fact the hot loads shot better in it. Nothing against a Smith but I choose the Ruger.

No on both, except an oopsie on my converted Saiga 308. The trigger job was a little light and I had to take it back to the gunsmith to be fixed.

Have you thought of taking it to glock? I don't know if they would chide you for having a non factory sight or not but it might be worth a try?

S&w m&p approx:1k no malfunctions. Two PSA probably somewhere between 1 and 1 million no malfunctions. I use pmags, troy mags and the old metal mags. Oh and another PSA 308 appox, 500 rounds no malfunctions. 20 round pmags.
