I have been thinking about picking up a few of the transparent lancer mags. But I think with the amount of use PMAGs have seen in the Middle East they have shown they are perfectly functional.

I mounted a Streamlight polytac to my AR, it's rated at 300 lumens. I blacked out my house and went around and wasn't blinded by any reflections luckily my house doesn't have any white walls which helps. It's also bright enough to light up my yard so I should be good for any possible HD use.

I've always heard they give a lot of swag out, word is that rub is pretty good too. My BCM upper came with a bunch of stickers, posters, and a hat.

Good to know. Thanks for the heads up I found a gully way back in the woods on the farm that's near a swamp. There is a bank/hill on one end that's about 8 feet high. I'm hoping to make myself a little training range back there over time with some steel. Targets where I can safely practice...

It is bigger than I thought it would be, its not huge by anymeans but it is between the size of a aimpoint PRO and a T1. I believe the Sparc II is larger but a little lighter.

that was kinda my plan, the area of the farm i shoot on is kinda far back and lugging a heavy as steel target back and forth would suck. I was kinda thinking a fresh coat of spray paint before i leave it would help.

Its a Sparc AR, the Sparc II is a different model (picture below is a sparc II). From what I gather they just released the Sparc AR earlier this year. I dont think it is intended as a replacement since it wont work on anything other than an AR or similar since the base/riser is not removable.

For those that have steel targets, do you leave them outside the whole time or do you bring them in when not in use? If you leave them outside, how well doe they hold up to the weather (rusting)?
