    Looking for powder?

Lol! Forgot about that. I tried them on a Glock about 2 years ago. I liked them. Sold them and the Glock a long while ago though.

    Looking for powder?

Haha! I don't even own a Glock! Fireclean? If so, you've got a deal! I'm in McDonough. Are you in Griffin or over towards Fayette County?

    Looking for powder?

Not sure where you're located, but I wish it was near me. I need someone to take me under their wing and show me the reloading ropes.

    What's everybody catchin'?

    Nice spec!

    Public toilets?

Seems to me that a business like that could not possibly survive on walk in sales alone. They cater to a very specific type of customer by the very nature of the business. Online sales?

    Looking for powder?

I just did the math on powder Valley. 8 lbs of XBR would be $215 including hazmat. Add in shipping cost and it's probably within $10. A smaller order, like 4lbs would be about $20-25 more expensive than the Army Navy price.

Went back in to snap a picture, in case you're looking for something in particular.

    Looking for powder?

It's all priced at $29.95. There aren't many places to get powder around here, so I don't mind paying up a little bit. It's cheaper than ordering online and having to pay the hazmat fees or having to place a huge order to offset them.

    Looking for powder?

I just left the Army Navy store in Stockbridge. They must have gotten a good shipment, because the shelf is slap full!

I'm getting ready to purchase a reloading press and would be interested in one or two buckets of 5.56 brass. But I have no idea what it sells for.

Putting in an Order at Zahal

Hahaha! It seemed like the longer he was using it, the more he applied. If you've ever had that stuff applied for physical therapy, it sucks. Had it applied to my back for two weeks once. It hurt like heck the first few days.

Putting in an Order at Zahal

A buddy of mine just received the handstops to use on his 8" SBR. He doesn't have a suppressor for it yet, so he installed them to keep from blowing his hand off. He's a lefty and his wife is a righty, so he mounted them at 3 and 9 o'clock. Looks funny, but they're pretty comfortable and serve...

Pretty much my exact thought when the whole barrel assembly turned.

Putting in an Order at Zahal

Costa really brought the whole c-clamp grip thing to the forefront. And the AFG was originally introduced as part of their "theory" product line along with the BAD lever. People were absolutely obsessed with anything he was doing for a few years. It was ridiculous. Oddly enough, he abandoned the...

Update! Barrel is from Radical Firearms. I sent an email to the owner detailing what I found. (we had already talked about it on the phone) He then forwarded it to Radical Firearms this afternoon. They responded very quickly and offered to repair or replace the barrel. He and I had discussed...

One additional thought. It used to be that this sort of thing never (almost never) happened. Since the advent of melonite / nitride barrels, it's become much more common. If you are considering a melonite barrel, I'd highly recommend that you contact the manufacturer first and quiz them on the...

With the right tools, you could torque it back on. But the issue is that the alignment pin may no longer correctly align with the gas port. This is why manufacturers drill the port after installing the extension, as the port is indexed off of the pin. Reinstallation would require a Brownells...

Tonight's episode of Adventures in AR Smithin'

There's nothing wrong with having a budget and trying to stick to it. Just like anything, you have to do your research and know what you're buying. As a general rule, I try to avoid new manufacturers for at least a year, if not two. This is one of those crazy issues that could have gone...
