I just installed and Ameriglow front sight on the G43 that has an orange ring around the trijicon insert. I left the rear sight stock for now as the contrast of orange on the white U on stock rear sight is excellent.

It has more to do with 9mm round evolving to be more effective. The ammo manufacturers have really worked on developing 9mm performance.

I bought some glow in the dark paint that would retain enough glow to last all night when charged up. I ordered the AmeriGlo GL-212-200-OR-C Glock Tritium Front Sight which has the orange ring around tritium insert. Not sure about rear sight yet.
