Hah I just buy the cheap batteryjunction brand batteries at $1 a piece. I get the ones that have 2 batteries shrink wrapped together.

I want to get a 43 to try out. For me, a Kahr CM9 is the smallest 9mm I have shot that is reliable. I'm not sure a 43 would fit in my pocket with the extra length. My work pants have pretty small pockets. I carry a 19 on the weekends and when I'm not at work so no problems there.

I just bought an 8" round 3/8" AR500 static target from xsteeltargets.com last week. I hang it on a shepherds hook from Home Depot. Heck of a lot of fun to shoot. I take mine down when I'm done because we have had things stolen from our hunting land before.

;) Nope. Using Kimber mags. Shouldn't have to buy special stuff for the gun to shoot, especially at that price.

Only gun I've ever hated that I owned was a Kimber Ultra Raptor II. It was a beautiful gun that jammed constantly. I've had cheap guns that jammed where I kind of expected it, but not from a gun that costs that much. I got rid of it pretty quick.

I would think if you are in that situation you would probably be in a parking lot or some other area like that. I think I would focus first on getting to cover.

Warren Tactical rears have a set screw as well, and usually run a little large. The 2 sets I have put on I have had to file a little off to get them to go in, even with a sight tool.

It happens. Some mags do it, others don't.

Wow. That sucks. Be glad something crazy didn't happen like the gun falling out in front of people or something. Loctite is cheap insurance.
