I, too, looked at the .458 SOCOM for a build. I cannot decide between it and the .450 bushmaster. It looks like I may go with the 6.5 Grendel since I would have to buy a dedicated can for .458 or .450 calibers.

I color code my mags with tape. Green for 5.56/.223 , res for 300BLKOUT and Blue for 7.62 ( curved mag should give it away) to help others shooting my firearms.

The Mac can be shot indoors. The KEG can be as well if you only shoot slugs, unless you want to pay for damaged ceiling tiles and light fixtures!
