Yes, I generally create space on top of the sights when I mold holsters. Especially if the gun has bigger sights. Some of the smaller pocket guns don't have much size in the sights. Heck, my Seecamp doesn't even have sights. What I do is stack some leather strips on top of the dummy guns to...

Here is my new holster for my Springfield full size 1911. Horse Hide dyed light brown, black shark mouth reinforcement/accent, sweat guard, 15-20 degree forward cant. I think the color combination matches the gun grips and frame color pretty well.

I make one like the Talon, but put put about 15-20 degrees go can't on the holster. I prefer the cant as it makes it easier to hide and get the gun out. Sweat guard and mouth reinforcement.

Looks like the original without the laser. I never was fond of the ioriginal as I don't like having to find the button for the laser. Prefer CT products with laser in the grip, if I wanted a laser on a gun. For the record I don't want any laser on my guns.

It went very well. The PD35 lights up everything around here. Even at the 4th level of 450 lumens the little sucker is very bright. That level is about double the power of the old T1. The 3rd level at 170 lumens is a very good basic everyday power and has about 8hrs run time on two batteries...
