Glock is going to have a US-made pocket .380?

Rumor control has it that Glock will be releasing a .380 pocket pistol in January. Doing a Google search for "Glock 42" will provide quite a few hits with interesting info in them. It's supposed to be made in the USA so the "rules" that prevented importation of earlier Glock .380 models made overseas won't apply.

Glock has made .380 pistols for quite a while. However, they did not meet the "point count" requirements to allow them to be imported into the U.S. thus we have not seen them sold here.

I gather from some of the ads I've seen while searching for the new pistol that the .380 Glocks have been available here but for "law enforcement only".

Looks like it will be about the size of the LC9, so no thanks! I'll get a dummy gun and make holsters for it, but that is about it for me. Kinda like the new Ruger .380, never understood that one either. But that is just me.

I just got the dummy gun. So I can now make holsters for the Glock 42. I hear there is a rumor going around that they may come out with a 9 mm later this year, that will be interesting.

. If that is the case I may hold off on getting a Ruger LC9 this year. I am sure the Glock would be a lot pricier but it might be worth it.

I got to play with this pistol at a local gun shop. It's a pretty nice pistol but left me wondering why they didn't release it in 9mm. In 380 its OK, but if they do release it in 9mm it will be very cool.
