    Best AR slings & mounts

I have a small frame so single points are hard to fit me. I have a Troy that fits me pretty well.

I had an moe grip laying around. Should I bother switching it with the Sierra Precision grip?

    My SPR Build Thread

I tried the SSA-E before and I wasn't much of a fan. I guess I'm so used to mil spec that I need to get used to it. The G2S seems to be a good combination of the both. Plus, I'm spending a lot as it is on this build. haha

    It's a Geissele G2S. Since it's a precision rifle, I decided to add a decent trigger.

    AR15 Armorer

I don't know. I guess if you have one, why not use it? I personally use one but I also know what 30 - 80 foot pounds feels like. I guess if someone who has only built one or 2 and isn't very mechanically inclined I wouldn't trust them without a torque wrench... but someone who has done a few and...

Ha... now cops have a reason to shoot people taking out their cell phones.

    AR15 Armorer

Ha no. Hand tighten then just tighten until you are able to line up the gas tube. The range is 30 - 80 foot pounds. You don't really "need" a torque wrench for such of a wide range. It's a good practice to use a torque wrench... but if you don't have one it's no sweat.

    AR15 Armorer

There is a trick to install the barrel without a torque wrench... but I doubt he knew the "trick".

    Side charging ARs... thoughts?

That's how some European countries do it. Allows them to have ARs. The just mod it so it acts as a straight pull.

You are correct. I may have said that wrong. The inside Diameter for barrel extension is slightly undersized for a tighter fit to the barrel. I may have worded what I was saying confusing.

If a hole is undersized and you put a pole in it then it would be tighter. Same concept. The threaded part on the barrel is the for the extension... where the barrel goes into the upper.

It seems like most folks are buying the hell out of stuff.

Yeah, I'm trying to build the ARs I've been wanting and then I'll stock up on mags and ammo. After that I may build a few cheap rifles to sell just in case there is a panic buy.

It fits the barrel nice and snug in the receiver. Meaning less wiggle, and more accurate of a rifle.

    AR15 Armorer

I'm not sure if you guys would know the answer to this, but it is something that seems pretty interesting to me. I decided against starting the firearms accessories online store because the amount of competition and such. After seeing the AR15 Armorer courses being posting... I'm curious of what...

    My SPR Build Thread

So I have decided to do both. I'm going to use MK12 Mod 0 furniture with my own custom parts. Upper: BCM (Inside Diameter for barrel extension slightly undersized) Lower: Anderson (because I have a shit load of them) Barrel: Mega Arms 18" SPR Match Barrel Gas Block: PRI flip up sights Rail: PRI...
