    Yeah 12x wont get you far. I definitely can't see holes in paper at 100 yds. 36x is good for 100 yds and a little further.

    I don't know him but I could tell he's not the type that can work for someone. He's an entrepreneur. Which makes me wonder if he signed a non compete agreement when he sold AAC.

    If it's transferable $10k and up. Class 2 or 3 can own dealer samples with a law letter. Difference is Class 2 can manf machine guns.

    Depends on what they charge you with. I assume a felony is a given which means you can never own a firearm. Fines start at 10k. They can get you for tax evasion as well for not paying the tax stamp.

    Only SOTs can lawfully own a dealer sample which can be a pre or post sample so I don't think you can tell by looking at it.

    I have the Celestron Land scout 12-36x60 $70. As @freedom said, the tripod is crap. Otherwise it works fine for me.
