For the situation you're describing, a TCP in a wallet holster works very well. Pocket carry is a breeze.

Also...it sheds heat from the barrel into your hand, which is what you want. ;) It does look cool though.

See I was gonna say CM9, but... I have been happy with both a Smith Jframe and the River LCR for pocket carry. For a 380 I'd either go with the Kahr CM or the Taurus TCP.

If you like CZs, get a P07. With the Smith you'll need to ante up for an Apex trigger. The P07 will be good out of the box.

The Tauri I've owned have either been good or faulty right out of the box. I've never had a good one fail. It helps to that so many of their guns are based on or clones of solid designs.

This is the key reason to look for a Gen 2 or early Gen 3 G19. The original extractor is a machined part and doesn't have these issues. Buy one of these and replace ONLY the springs as needed.

They offer an impressive Shadow build, also a very nice 97BD. The 97 is interesting as they (at one time) use a modified 1911 barrel bushing to tune the accuracy.
