I think yourfairly safe buying anything common and simple. 870 or 500 shotguns, 10/22, 30-30 lever guns, etc are all simple with easy to find parts.

I've only ever held one. It it feels very well built and I haven't heard anything bad really about them. There also seems to be a good and still growing aftermarket for them. I think the Sig MPX looks better but it's way more expensive and doesn't have affordable mags like the CZ.

Make sure you get that little thing that lets it feed the mini shells reliably. I was leaning more toward the 870 but the mini shell thing is what changed my mind to the 590.

I think as much as we all want and know it would be a good thing. Sadly I still don't think it will pass. I think the republicans will pass some pro-gun law to appease their voting base but I think the HPA is not going to be that law.
