    Colt Revolvers.... coming back!

I don't think there's a modern substitute for hand polishing and fitting parts.

    Favorite AR-15 magazine

Pmags, they work and they're cheaper than the ammo it takes to fill them up.

CZ Fan here....switched to Glock 19

Funny you say that, the reason I used the stencils was because they were too small for the rifle job I ordered them for. Wasn't paying attention when I ordered them so they were just some extras I had laying around. There were a dozen pieces or so that looked like little peckers, I thought I...

CZ Fan here....switched to Glock 19

That was my thinking, the problem I quickly discovered was that I was going to be able to blur the edges on the metal slide but the polymer not so much. Still got some experimenting to do but practice makes perfect.

CZ Fan here....switched to Glock 19

Yeah, after the final layer of stencils was flash cured and I pulled them off I thought it might look cool to distress it some, then I changed my mind so I fucked up the slide. I might go back and just do the slide a solid color like I did my 23.

CZ Fan here....switched to Glock 19

Just Cerakoted my EDC 19. Laufen's thread inspired me to try and come up with my own camo pattern. Not sure if I like it or not.

    Which gas block???

If it was me I'd still just chop it. It may seem like a bubba hack job of an idea but whatever you end up replacing it with is going to be inferior in strength.

Just cut the A2 down to fit under the rail.

    Colt Revolvers.... coming back!

Man if you ever see that one listed please say a prayer for me cause it'll mean I'm down to my last very last dime and have already done all sorts of shameless things.

    Colt Revolvers.... coming back!

It's been fired at least six times cause there's just the slightest powder burn around each ring of the cylinder. It's barely noticeable so I haven't attempted to clean it of in fear I'll make it worse. I just get it out when I'm feeling blue and wipe it down with an oily rag for a few minutes...

    Colt Revolvers.... coming back!

The first model troopers were nice too. This one my uncle left me and it's gotta be smoothest revolver I've ever handled. This thing in unbelievably tight but everything on it moves slick like butter. I'm afraid to shoot it.

    Local Glock Frame Work

Hey bud, I've only done one stipple job and that was on my 19. Just stippled over where I removed the finger grooves and under cut the trigger guard. I think it turned out good but it's not really something I'm comfortable doing to someone else's frame. I mostly just Cerakote right now, and...

Thinking about going optic-less on my SBR

As long as it's daylight out I only shoot with irons or a scope. But there's really no disadvantage or reason to not have a quality optic with a quick release mount for your build.

    Make your own camo?

Yeah that would help. I'm looking at stencils online but can't quite find it. I almost think I could make the Flecktarn stencils work by just using the larger sections. My friends wife has a plotter and does leather stuff with it, she is supposed to be working on figuring out how to program it...

    Make your own camo?

Do you know what that patterns called? I can see if I can find it.

    Make your own camo?

Looks like the German Flecktarn camo. I can do that no problem as long as I can find stencils that match it. Working on getting a plotter so I can print my own stencils but for now I've been ordering them from different suppliers online.

    24" vs 20" 556

Looking at ballistic charts I don't see a practical need to go over 20" on an 556 AR. I just Cerakoted a 24" build for a customer and the rifle just feels unnatural. Of course it would help if he got a rifle stock for it but damn that barrel is like toting around a broom stick.
