For a 9mm rifle, the Vortex Strike Fire might be a little pricey. I've never tried to fire a 9mm at any sort of distance, so I'm not sure of the practical range... I think the holosun optic might be a practical entry level optic for that build.

You prob. won't run into that problem, I have not see any issues when zeroing rifles with that kind of sight. ( unless it was shooter related )

That's a lot of money for a Air Rifle... I had a $120.00 dollar WalMart air rifle that killed the hell out of tree rats. For $200 bucks more I bet you could find a RC K98 in pretty nice shape.
