    Not a bad idea, but I wonder what the recoil would be like... My wife only feels comfortable with a revolver, and I hate buying 38 spl. Ammo for her to practice with. So if you buy one LMK what it shoots like.

    Mag 58 in service around 1958-9, the army started using the M240 as a machine gun in tanks in 1977 to replace the M73 machine gun. And it replaced the M60 in 1996-97, for the role of a medium machine gun, in the infantry and support role.

    I know it officially replaced the M60 in 1996 or 97, but I thought it made it's official debut in 1959 as a Belgian military weapon. I'll have to look that up.

    The M240 has been in service since the 1950's.... It might be cheaper for him to find a full auto 240. IDK.

    I'm thinking about doing a SDM/DMR rifle build while I'm here, so I might get a 2nd lower from DLA. I'll let him know in about a week or so... I need to find a FFL to send the upper too.
