I carry a G30 with 230 gr 45 ACP. I prefer a larger caliber. I prefer 1911 so I stick with 45 ACP.

All semi auto cartridges have limitations due to design of mag and grip size unlike revolvers.

I prefer to carry my glock 21 45 cal (makes my boobs feel big) but I have a 9mm nano that fits better in my purse. So the nano is carried a lot more. Do I like 9mm ? Nope
Sold all my 9mm couple years back and went to all 45s. But this year I did buy beretta 92fs 9mm and beretta nano 9mm
I don't like the way the nano feels or shoots

The holster definitely has something to do with it. I filled a drawer with various holsters before I started buying Crossbreeds almost exclusively. You are also right about the gun. I have carried guns smaller than the P30 that don't wear nearly as comfortable.
"comfortably" adverb king. :D

Agree, but crossbreeds? They look freaking huge, like a giant leather frisbee on your hip. Are they thin enough to be comfortable?

I'm using the Blackpoint mini-wing. It's nice, but I wish it had one more adjustment hole to get it to sit a little lower on the belt line. I don't think I can do those mega-huge leather flaps like Crossbread or Comptac anymore. They get too hot and make me sweat too much.

Me too, but I wish they hadn't machined holes in the slide. What a great way to get lint, dust, and crap into the internals of the gun.

I'd be worried about that too...but realistically that would be hard to happen as the gun would spend 95% of it's life in a kydex holster...

I did just find a place that can machine a VP9 slide to accept an RMR......that might be the ticket. I want to either get twin M&P 9 COREs or twin VP9s with RMR slides for the wife and I.

Most comfortable holsters I have found to date. Crossbreeds are all I carry in.

I'd like to try one out then I guess, they just look so big and cumbersome. I've been mainly using High Noon Mr. Softies, best I've carried and really cheap.

I use the quick clip when I carry a single stack subcompact and the super tuck when I carry my P30. The leather is big, but that's one of the things I like about it. It spreads the pressure from the gun over a larger area and makes it where I don't even feel it. Granted I went from carrying really crappy holsters to these, so I don't have much experience with anything in between.

It's the most comfortably holster I have ever weared.
