Well I am seriously contemplating my first can. Figured I would come in here and let ya'll take me in or out of it. I lean you will push more to in for some reason? What should I look for and what kind of price to get me started? I have this so I am all but the can there. Heck I don't even know where to start? I figured Dave at Classic City Firearms would be a good start?

You looking to do a multi-caliber can or just 9mm?

Sweet! What kind? So obviously a price difference to go with that set up?
just added the link above ... yeah, not the cheapest, but fully user serviceable

I believe CCF is not selling NFA items anymore, but I could be incorrect.

The Octane cost a little more because it is all steel internals, unlike the Tirant which is aluminum baffles with only a steel blast baffle.

Now the Griffin Armament Revolution silencer has almost identical baffles as the Octane, except I believe the coat theirs in TiN, and their cans are modular, meaning you can make it either short or full length.

I think the Griffin is a serious winner, and its pistons are a little cheaper than SilCo IIRC.

OH MAN WINNER! It will do 300blk as well!!
This is my first, and I'm certainly no expert; I'm sure @PewPewPewCo or the others on here could advise better, but that is what I got.

Jake at QRF handled everything; just went in with my Trust, paid him for the can and the tax stamp and he handled everything else.

I'll say this, if you don't plan to shoot 22 or exposed lead bullets through it, then I prefer the heck out of an Osprey.

Given that I all my cans basically cover standard sights, there is a hell of a lot to be said for being able to use factory sights unobstructed. Yes you can "aim through the can"... I do it regularly. But it takes shooting to more of a "yeah, I think that's about right" game instead of feeling like I'm the one making the shots count.

David is great, if he can get what you want. Is CCF or spamcastle on here yet?
