I might have figured out the hot tip for minimalist holsters.

Nope. That's why I need somebody to make it for me. Lol...here's a pic of my kydex pocket holster though. It has a spot wide enough to put that type of clip on it looks like....

I would just need the kydex to go up a little further so that it doesn't ride so high up on my belt.
Hmmm I'd have to tinker with it. That looks like there is a huge gap between the trigger guard and the kydex?

Only on the outside. They make it like that to make printing minimal. Hold on a sec and I'll find a pic of the other side. @dougiemac played with it and he can confirm that the retention is amazing.

Ahhhh I see. Very interesting pocket setup. I've never pocket carried so I've never really tried to make one lol

I actually ordered that from a company I found watching a hickock45 video, lol. Their lead times suck ass but it is a nice pocket holster. It's way less bulky than the fabric pocket holsters I've tried in the past.

Well remind me to look tomorrow and I can see how people are mocking them up to fit a wide clip on a revolver. The other one I did had a thin clip over the trigger guard so that it cleared the wheel part of the gun that way the overall thickness of the holster wasn't super thick. I'll do a little research though.

A quick Google search yielded only a few results for kydex LCR holsters and they are all minimalist AIWB. A neat concept but I don't really like AIWB carry.

Honestly, I don't even know if what I want is even possible without wasting a ton of kydex and even then it may not even work. :(

Yeah I've never seen one with a wide clip. It could be done but the problem is it would be suuuuper thick basically from your body to the outside of the clip. Think the thickness off the wheel, plus something mocked into the mold, plus your belt, plus the clip.

Ok ... here is how I would have done the clip on the lcr ......

I would have made a cylinder "extension" out of wood so it would mimic the contours of the cylinder all the way to the back of the grip. Use more wood to make the extension look like a T or a cross depending on where I wanted to attach the clip. Keep the edge close to the trigger guard minimal and if anything else if it needs to be wider to accommodate the clip push it towards the top edge where the sights are.

I know that's probably hard to picture in your mind but it's very doable.

Nice find! I could probably make that happen. Will just take a few tries in the press more than likely. Every new thing typically takes me a couple tries to get the shapes right and all snag points right. Youre in cherokee, so maybe come by one day and we can probablty knock it out. Im at the end of kellogg creek on the 92 side.

EDIT: Oops was talking to @2001SportTJ but in a reply to @TattooedGunner lol. Nice find though!!
