Yeah I'm not really sure what to do. If there's a grandfather clause I will kick myself for not buying more. If there isn't then I'll kick myself for wasting all that money.

These are dire times for sure. Kinda funny how six months ago people were thinking that maybe by this time the whole NFA system might go away and I was the Debbie Downer saying there was no chance...now it's a fight just to keep what we got.
I guess it's good motivation to become a trillionaire, and purchase a sovereign nation to preside over.

Maybe, but the 2015 AWB (that's the hallmark piece of legislation being cited) is all about surrendering firearms, not registering, and certainly not grandfathering.

Well they have to know where they are before they ban them...so I guess you're right.
Nope. Just ban them and if you get caught with one you go to prison. They don't give a damn if they get them all, they want to pass feel good legislation to use as a feather in their collective political caps. At the end of the day, I think even the anti-rights assholes mostly know it won't work.

I'm just thinking that is as far as they'll get with it, could be wrong. Wouldn't be surprised to see a high cap mag law go into play along with it, but I'm personally not seeing a confiscation being likely

I think half of the American people are begging for it with tears in their brains, and the other 97% don't really want to risk federal prison.

I think what we would see is a lot of talk and no action; it's hard enough just to get people to vote

I could easily see a much less obtrusive AWB/mag ban coming in to effect...the scary bit is that the left doesn't think they need to hide their true desire anymore.

What they want and what they get passed are 2 different things; sure, they'll shoot for the moon with all sorts of legislation, bans, etc; what will actually get passed is another story. <Keeping fingers and toes crossed>

You'll have to forgive me for having -50 Faith on Congress as it sits and -200 Faith in Congress when Hillary sets her cloven hooves into the Oral Office.

I'm with ya, the potential is certainly there; if Hilary is elected, the whole country will be flushed down the toilet anyway ..... Guatemala will start looking very promising

Almost half of eligible voters stay home on Election Day. At this rate if you get 30% of voters you'd probably be in good shape. I imagine a lot of voters will stay home or vote third party this year so they can feel good about themselves. It might not take as many votes as you think to win but we will see
