I used to EDC a G20 Gen 4 with Underwood HPs, but I ultimately got to the point where I couldn't justify such a crappy trigger (no matter what I did to it) and went back to 1911s.

I've never had an issue controlling the 10MM recoil, just haven't tried it in a 1911 platform yet .... maybe if I could just find a Delta elite that wasn't $1000 :(

lol, I hear ya...I know Kimber makes a targer II in 10mm as well. You might actually find one cheaper than the Colt.

in what market?

lol, I jest - yes, I've looked at them. I do indeed like the 10MM, but the better platforms are significantly overpriced

Rock Island makes a decent 10mm.
Yes, I've heard this, and I do want to try one as I had nothing but good encounters with my last RIA that I built up.

This is where I will be a little bit of a hypocrite - Even if I can actually get my hands on one of the tactical RIA 10mms, I will still need to get past the price and availability of the friggin 10MM round.

Yeah, I understand it's not a commonplace round, and no, I don't expect to pick it up at Walmart from Perfecta at $14/50, but I would like to ..... and so my sandy vag ensues

GA Arms buddy....thats the only reason I even got into the caliber....good prices on target ammo. Last time I priced it, it was 45acp pricing.

Le Hi defense and Able ammo has pretty good pricing on 10mm.
Previously carried a few variations of Underwood 10MM in HPs, but for practice, CCI was the best I could find at a reasonable rate

Tried them too, in person in fact, but then again, I was there during the ammo craze, so who knows.

to me the 10mm is a great round especially for carry.so buy the good rounds and carry on and practice with the 40sw or the 9mm for just shooting targets...10mm is great round to have in the safe..you're not shooting it everyday

or the most common sense option is the glock..interchangeable barrels multi cal...just a thought
No, I'm not going back to a Glock trigger. I don't care how much you torture me, I'm not doing it.

Put a pyramid trigger or something in it you wiener...
Yeah, let me modify a plastic trigger that was never designed to be smooth in the first place. Wait, while I'm at it, let me spend a bunch of money on some fancy trigger upgrades that actually have lifespan limitations.

Or

I'll just keep shooting a real trigger on a 1911

Problem solved ;)
