    Converting .223 to .300 BLK

I recently gave the factory headstamp .300 blk brass that I had to another member here due to minor reloading irregularities. I don't shoot .300 blk, but I have formed a pile of 8x57 cases from .270. The main issue that I have observed in cutting down brass and reforming it is that the new...

    Speer Boat Tail Bullets

I was given a box of old 160 grain Speer Boat Tails and loaded them up with Magpro. A good group was the result with a zero within 3/4 of an inch of my Bergers. I though the result to be interesting and bought a couple boxes of 165's for a 30-06. I got another group less than an inch using a...

    365 Kool Aid

I have been giving Sig time to work the bugs out of the 365 before drinking the Kool Aid. I picked one up just before church tonight and shot about 3 magazines of reloads into a cardboard box after getting home just before dark. The front sight is very easy to pick up in low light. The pistol...

    Best Precision Case trimmer

If your rifle is "off the rack" and you keep you tolerances down to .003, along with staying with 1/10 grain in powder charges there isn't much to gain for the additional effort.

    Best Precision Case trimmer

I use a Frankfort Arsenal tool. The setep isn't micrometer based, but it gets the cases very consistent, 1-2 .000 depending on how fast you go. The tool indexes off the neck, which I feel is better than oal based trimming. You can also remove primer crimps, chamfer, and deburr all in one...

Dairy Queen “Dreamsicle” dipped ice cream cone

The best was when they rolled the cone in crushed nuts, then dipped them in chocolate. They won't do that anymore....

    TAC SOL AERIS

The downside to those for me is that they are so long. I am looking to keep my rig belt sized. Except rare occasions, I fill my feeder that is on the pistol range that can't be driven to and check the property when I go out shooting a pistol. Any other stubby durable suppressor suggestions?

    TAC SOL AERIS

Something like that would allow my belt gun to remain a belt gun, and my rifle not to become musket long. The durability is a big thing for me. Between restoring farm equipment, planting pecan trees, and my milsurp madness, 11 cans aren't in the budget anytime soon. Do you have any other...

    TAC SOL AERIS

Depending on the reviews, this may be my first can. I am getting the fever.

    So......Body Armor

I think that it makes since if you know something is coming your way or maybe you work in a dangerous environment, but you won't have time to put it on if the glass breaks at 2 a.m.

    300 black

Taking money to ship a gift to a friend....not this old man. I only found 54 300 blk headstamped, but I will get them in the mail tomorrow or Friday. Just p.m. me your address.

    300 black

I have started using Accurate/ Western powders, Magpro specifically for my more serious shooting such as at live critters. I set the bullets close to maximum cartridge oal and work up to max charges. The pressures stay reasonable longer that way for me. My chronograph results have mirrored and...

    300 black

In for results. I would probably use something in the 125 grain for a projectile, and would try a few with 296/110 if I had any. That powder is always very accurate for me.

    RCBS Chargemaster Lite

That is a fine rig. Only shooting service rifle and making hunting rounds I can't justify the cost. Especially being in the middle of restoring a trailer, tractor, and a pile of plows, bushing, etc.

    RCBS Chargemaster Lite

I used a Gempro for a few years, but only shooting 600 and in service rifle I was the weak point, not my ammunition. The Gempro is a fantastic electronic scale.

    Shooters World Match Rifle

I tried this powder as a low cost .308 powder and if really delivers the goods from my PSA-10. Mid-range loads with 150's and 168's really deliver the goods in this very picky rifle. 1.5 moa is a great day for this gun, and this combo does it. It meters great. Pressure signs show up faster than...

    NASCAR 2019: Daytona 500

Hopefully a smaller organization will win it. There hasn't been much of that since the vehicles are no longer modified stock cars. If the makers actually had to use modified production vehicles 20 car packs would decrease and manufacturer participation would increase. We would also have much...

    RCBS Chargemaster Lite

I have spent about a month using the Chargemaster Lite for my rifle reloading. The results have been very satisfactory. When using ball powder, it has yet to miss a throw with about 200 loaded at .308/.270 levels. When loading long extruded powder such as IMR 4064 and 4895 for service rifle and...
