Agreed but you don’t see many firearms out there chambered in this cartridge. These are the ones that I know of: FN FiveSeven, FN P/PS90, CMMG Banshee, AR 57 upper (and full AR rifle), MPA 57, and I think there’s another Automag or something obscure. Have I forgotten any?

I really like the PS90 but I’ve always been cautious given the 5.7 round. Nothing wrong with the performance but I wonder what the commercial viability of the 5.7 will be in 5, 10, 25 years.

A longer sight radius tends to allow for more precise alignment which generally leads to better accuracy. However in quick shooting situations (ccw) it is unnecessary.

I still don’t get the desire for the 17 slide on the 19 frame. Bear with me here...you want a shorter grip for better concealment but a longer slide for better accuracy? I guess that you’ll need that extra precision when drawing from concealment in a self defense situation. I want a G26...
