I use a home based FFL for most mine. I can usually find some cheap firearms online and get them shipped.

I also shop online almost exclusively, and use an "at home" FFL. When I can catch him at home, he is a fireman by trade. I can't hardly make myself buy a gun at retail anymore. The Clowns to the left of me & the Jokers to the right. And then to have to deal with "behind the counter" clerks, it is just too much for a decent gun guy to handle! When I go into a BIG box gun store and see all those people pay sometimes $200 more for a gun than they could buy on line, it never ceases to amaze me! I will admit I go to few LGS & a few gun shows to pick up & get a feel for a new gun I haven't seen before, but very rarely would I buy it there.
