Just curious to some opions!

With industry slow... folks is waiting on laws to pass... prices are creaping down... wait times still too long...

I'm thinking that if prices dropped considerable, that the market might pick up! I would be apt to deal with the waits if I'm getting a good bargain! I mean, yes the $200 stamp sucks, but I would consider more if prices were down.

Would you jump into more if you were picking up $200-$300 cans?

Exactly my thoughts. Thinking about a couple of cans this spring.

I'm thinking a lot of manufacturers have got to be ready to move product! With so many people waiting for them to be removed from registry, I would think more might jump if prices dropped significantly. But who's gonna make the move first!?

Suppressors are a lot like nice 1911's. Everyone would like to have one; but not everyone can afford one. A perfect example is look how long it takes a nice gun to sell for over $750 (hint, the market is not very big). It gets a lot of looks; but no real offers. With all the extra documentation required for NFA items, $200 stamp, and who knows how long of a wait; price is just another issue that manufactures have to overcome. Don't forget that they have to be stored under lock and key at the dealer for the entire process.

That being said, I really like mine and am glad I got them several years ago. Waits at one time were around 100 days; so that helped.

Prices aren't going to drop much more. Manufacturers have dropped prices considerably, and there are a few retailers running promotions paying for tax stamps. If you want some suppressors, just get the ball rolling.

No time than the better. I seriously doubt hpa is going to pass anytime soon, if ever. Prices are rock bottom. Just remember the longer you wait to get started the longer it is going to take to get back. People are going to figure out the same thing you are right now.

Also make sure you support @DoglegArms he will take care of you.

Yes they are! I have several including one of the Dobbs ARC30 cans with custom serial# from his initial builds. It took a long time to get the can; but Brian listened to what we wanted. What will really ruin you is getting a 22lr integral.

Now is the time. And @DoglegArms all the way! I was intimidated at first getting into the suppressor game, but he makes it super easy and has great prices. I’m headed over there tomorrow to do the paperwork on my second can.

2-300 dollar cans already exist and they have for a while. If you just want an inexpensive gun muffler, then jump on one and get the ball rolling. Wait times are dropping quick. Ive seen many under 5 months. Once people see it hit the 3 month mark they are going to be sending in a lot of forms. Its best to get yours in before that.
Ill personally be sending in several forms very soon.

On the other hand, you will not see the top tier cans dropping to rock bottom prices. These things are too expensive and difficult to manufacture out of titanium, inconel and stellite to ever reach $300 retail. Not to mention the development and support that the top companies offer.

Unfortunately HPA is dead.

Those Rebel silencers look like crap. But they’re dirt cheap and the 22 @Cudruln brought to the range for us was pretty quiet. Don’t forget Dobbs Defense. Quite a few members have their Arc 22. It’s very reasonably priced and performs well.

Dobbs rifle can doesnt meet the price point hes looking for, and I dont think he should be in the same list as rebel and black aces. He builds good stuff at a reasonable price, but hes not giving them away, and thats a good thing. Companies that race to the bottom, often drown.

Hell I thoight our swarm at 369 MAP was a steal. Theres well over $100 in raw titanium in it.

Everyone that I know that got the rebel cans had baffle strikes.

I'm already in over my head with suppressors. I guess my thought was what would it take currently for more to get into it, with the market down. Is it just the wait times that are keeping people out?

@chance, I certainly understand the cost of materials! I think your focus with 22cal has developed an amazing product! I'm leaning real hard to the next for me will be your EOS22!
