AD825B32-52BD-407E-A0D8-3ABFE74B83FD.png I went all out and fancy and bought a inflatable intex 5 person raft, for 100$ it’s a pretty good deal on amazon right now. You can put a trolling motor on it to make life easier. Question though is do you have to register it? I’m not big in the boating side of things so I have realistically no idea.

I have a medium sized pond full of largemouth bass and bluegill. We fish it just about every day, so the fish aren't easy to catch. I've found just switching up your bait regularly is necessary. One day they will bite a crankbait, other days they will only bite a spinnerbait. Some days they want plastic worms, and other days I can only get bites on live bait. So just keep switching lures until you find the one they want that day. As for bluegill, there is never a day they won't bite live bait, but some days I can get them to bite artificial stuff. We usually just stick with small worms we dig up in the field and we can catch them all day long.

A Carolina rig works well also as people don't fish plastic worms much any more.

Dynamite works great!

Any of you cats ever fished Lake Eufaula? Me and the FIL are planning a camping/fishing outting down there here real soon. I was curious if anyone had any tips? I've never fished it. I haven't been fishing in years. But I'm starting to get excited. Been looking at new bait casters all morning. Lol

Tip... take a pole, some lines, some bombers, some hooks, some bait and you're set!

Don't forget insect repellent and sunscreen!

Definitely not a new hobby. I used to keep a collapsible rod/real, cane pole, and tackle box in my truck at all times. We went probably four or five days a week when I was in high school.

What you got to fish with currently?
A little bit of everything. My favorite two are probably a little Daiwa spinning Outfit with an ultra light action rod for bream and crappie (makes them feel like a trophy no matter how big) and my Abu Garcia spinning for bass. I have an older Penn spinner my grandpa have me that's really nice and a Shimano low profile bait caster my dad gave me. That's just to name a few. I have quite a few other including a fly rod.

You gonna be bank fishing or what? What is your target species of fish?

Boat. Might do a little Bank fishing at night at the campsite. And as far as species, whatever is hitting good. Probably mainly bass though.
