I can agree with that, first time for me trying this clip dodad, it's got a grommet to put a hard strut or loop strut and I have extras but I fig I'd give this a try and see if it holds well through multiple draws before I change it out

I have used plenty of those clips on holsters I make. As long as the holster is designed right those clips have plenty of retention. I have never had one pull off my belt, even with excessive gun retention molded into the holster. Here is a G43 set I did for a local guy. Both OWB for range or winter carry and IWB for easy concealment. Clip works great.

so far the clip seems to be holding up well, it's just something that foreign to me from what I'm used to is all, it is a very easy holster to remove if need be though (at least easier than the loops around the belt), and he did mold extra retention into it which I can really appreciate for a carry rig. The clip seems to hold nice and tight to the kydex which looks from the shape of the molding where the clip mounts to as that was his intention, overall so far so good!
