What is considered a really good .40s&w handgun?

Inquiring minds want to know what is the softest feeling short and weak hadgun?

I don't know why I want to know about .40s ... But something is calling me to it.

The Glock 23 is always a go to but the new HK VP40 shoots beautifully.

The only fotay I'd ever take back is the USP40. The size and weight along with the sweet factory trigger made it the most accurate and soft shooting short and weak gun I ever fired. And I tried quite a few before coming home to 9mm and .45acp. I'd put the VP40 in there too, then the CZ's, then the Walther's, then M&P's and glocks evenly. And I actually own a Glock right now that I don't hate... And I can't fault a 23 for one simple fact... You can make it a 19 with about a Benjamin and a twelve packs worth of investment.

The .40 is the round that came about because of government stubbornness. It shouldn't exist. The FBI is going back to 9mm for a reason.

No....it's a 9mm. I had a sig in 40 and a Springfield 40 and didn't care for either of them.

Glocks and m&ps are normally solid but you should get it in 9 anyway.
