Well I got my TYR tactical plate carriers in after a 6 month wait.

I am 6'2" 270 and these things fit perfectly. I ordered them in XXL just to make sure and I wasn't disappointed.
The one on the left was around 600 and the one on the right was around 200. Worth it for the quality of these things.
Yeah the 600 one is going to be expensive in the long run as well. It uses special plates. The Protech level 3s which are 950 each. So it will be a couple of months before I complete the set.

A plate carrier is high on my list of purchases when finances allow. I can't recall the brand but there is a site you can get a complete carrier with plates for 300ish. Wouldn't be great for everyday but for my uses should work well enough.

They are adjustable brother so they will sit where you want them to.
