We're doing a three day weekend. I think we'll be hitting several shops looking for old vinyl records. Found a lot lately so the new turntable has been getting a workout.

I have nothing planned other than yard work .... I'm boring.

It may be an adventure though; I've let the back yard grow with weeds and such because if I cut it too short, my 3 dogs have a tendancy to wear the grass down to the red-clay dirt and track it into the house. Lord only knows what those 3 have drug out of the house and distributed amongst the weeds.

I wouldn't be surprised if I find Jimmy Hoffa back there

I do have to go pick my son up in Gainesville, so I figure I'll take a pocket full of cash and go over to GA gun store. See what kind of stuff I didn't know I needed.

smell of old vinyl? HMMMM. seriously my mom has been collecting records since the 50's she has a ton.alotta Elvis,her and my dad used to go to a lot of elvis concerts.
last time they moved (build new house every 5 years) she had a TON.ARE THEY ACTUALLY WORTH ANY $$$ ???

Depends on condition and rareness. Right now it's a sellers market. There are a ton of reissues but people want the original. I got an original, not even a light scratch, with original sleeve of Deep Purple "Machine Head" for $10. I was a little shocked.
