Unexpected bonus, any suggestions for a new platform?

Unexpected bonus showed up yesterday, thinking of using a portion of it (maybe around $700) to try my hand at something new.

I've been through AKs, ARs, the majority of plastic pistols, some revolvers, Garand, SKS, several shot guns, etc; while I'd like an M1A, I'm also considering other surplus rifles.

Any thoughts on some truly unappreciated guns?

A little more than 700 but you could try your hand at a bull pup like a tavor or something.

460 or 500 Mag S&W and yes they can be found for 700 aint gonna be on yer local site though.

I know for my next "odd" gun purchase I will be buying a Civil war Era musket...either an Enfield or Springfield...haven't decided yet.

I'd also like a quality reproduction of a pattern 1777 or possibly 1771 Charleville flintlock.
