So the trigger costs enough for almost 3 stamps. Pass.
If it’s right around the $1000 mark, and I don’t have to deal with the paperwork bs.... I’d buy it. I have a feeling they are gonna be greedy though.....

I already have more SBRs than I know what to do with so I am not the target market. I guess I'm biased.

So far I have zero stamps with two suppressors awaiting approval. I’m hoping to file a couple SBRs this year.

I went from zero to 17 stamps in 2 years starting back in 2013. Started with just 1 can.

We have two kids under two. Don’t think my collection will grow quite as fast. But that is impressive.

Yeah, summer of 2013 I had some side work on the weekends that was paying well. Spent every weekend down in Atlanta working. Really pissed my wife off, at the end of the summer I had no extra money to show for all the weekends I worked but I did have a hell of a NFA collection pending.

I agree. Companies get greedy. I figure it will be $1800. Which I can build a 26” OAL AR for around $500 easy, get the trigger for $500 and have one for around $1k as long as the Lower is sold as “other” and that is the loophole.

Kak shockwave makes all of this unnecessary.
$200 tax stamp makes that unnecessary....and my stock is shorter than a shockwave when collapsed

It doesn't meet the legal definition of a rifle. It's the binary fire control. What remains to be seen is if it uses their regular BFSIII unit or a different one, that when not on binary setting, fires 1 round on the release of the trigger.

It all comes from Technology Branch allowing the binary trigger in the first place.

18 U.S.C., § 921(A)(7) and 27 CFR § 478.11

The term “Rifle” means a weapon designed or redesigned, made or remade, and intended to be fired from the shoulder and designed or redesigned and made or remade to use the energy of the explosive in a fixed metallic cartridge to fire only a single projectile through a rifled bore for each single pull of the trigger.

Pull & release to fire = not a rifle.
