Botach? lol good luck with that gang.
That's why I cancelled my order with them and ordered elsewhere. Oddly enough, when I ordered elsewhere, they shipped it the next day. Might be here tomorrow, might be Saturday. Gonna try to get it to the range to give it and the new DD barrel a welcoming reception, just not sure it'll happen before my trip to VA.

Quality feels like exactly what you'd expect from Trijicon. The 2 MOA dot looks great, way sharper than anything I've ever seen in an aimpoint. I gotta get to the range!

I might get to the range Wednesday or Thursday. If not then it'll be a bit since I'll be out of town.
Been messing around with bringing it on target in the backyard (reinforcing for the neighbors that I'm mildly unhinged)
It's crazy fast to pick up and way more clear of a dot than An M2, M4 or T1....at least for my eyes. The brightness levels seem really well thought out as well.

Setting 3 which is the first day light setting and pretty damn usable unless you're in really direct light, has an advertised battery life of 5 years.
Setting 6, the brightest, us 28 days.

Still haven't gotten to the range, but I've played with it a good bit and noticed one issue. In certain indoor lighting conditions there is a bit of red glare even when the brightness switch is in an off position. I've emailed Trijicon about it, will update when I hear back.

Does the lens have a coating like the T1s do? Do you think the glare is from the emitter or a coating on the lens?

It strikes me as from the emitter because its always in a specific location, but it happens even in the off positions.

It's not visible outdoors in any light condition, direct sun or night, just certain indoor light levels.

And yes, the lens is coated. It has a reddish hue from the front but no real tint when looking through it.
