To SBR or not

So I've got a mk18 that I'm almost done with...nut I'm de eating whether to SBR it or not. Right now I have a VLTOR A5 system on it with an SBA3..and measuring it between a std. Carving buffer with a B5 Bravo on it the SBA3 is .3" shorter. The B5 feels better, but I dont know that its $200 better.

Now that the ATF has given a go on shouldering braces, is anyone SBRing anymore?

Isn't saving $200, being able to sell the thing (more) freely if you want to, and dick-punching the NFA some other advantages?

I have a sbr and a suppressor, not selling either. Took me a long time to get both and don't care about paying the tax stamp. It is what it is, here today, gone tomorrow.

Had the braces been as good back then as they are today I wouldn't own at least 4 of the 5 AR SBRs.


The good thing is I probably wouldn't own the pistols either. The stamps have made me keep them.

I was going to build a SBR but then I bought an AR pistol, I didn't really think I would like it but it has grown on me.
I saved $200 and I can travel with it so no need for a SBR for me.
