After countless hours on YouTube... Searching for peoples setups on personal survival items, gear, and what have you. I think I found a good start for your truck/car/moped/llama mode of transportation.
I started with a Janus pack from maxpedition and the esee izula surivial kit that came with my knife. Added a multitool and went from there.
Added the paracord that came with the knife and a set of grimloc 's to attach to belt loops.
Then set out to see what works for me, or what I think is necessary to have if I put my main pack down.
There is water purification ntabs (which have probably expired from the ga heat, that will be replaced/discarded next time I am out and about) a small knife sharpener, bandana, emergency blanket, cheapie poncho (many uses, get creative) extra cordage, biodegradeable camp Soap in an old contact eyendropper, I had a thing of bleach in a different color one I must have forgotten to put it back, a nylon stockeling for my life straw/sawyer microfilter and an altoids survival tin.
The tin is basically mico first aid for small cuts, a lighter wrapped with 5yds of dental floss, waterproof matches, striker, fishhooks of varying sizes, safety pins, benadryl, anti-shits meds, a good sturdy needle, tweezers, fishing line and sinkers, and a ferrocium stick.
Hope this gives you a good start on your own little never leave my side bag.
