If I'm understanding the design correctly, this band stretches like a heavy duty/high quality ace bandage.
Yes, it's very elastic.
After a little more time in the wrist, it's pretty comfortable. Adjustments are quick and easy and can be done on the wrist once you get a feel for it, but it's also very secure. The only issue I've seen so far is that it is difficult to latch with only one hand. I'm hoping that after a bit more use and a little experience it gets easier.
I'll try to remember to take some pictures when I get home of exactly how it latches and adjusts.
