seems like an easy way to build an SBR by swapping the action into a new stock. Threaded is nice too.

The new Inland Advisor

Inland Manufacturing announced the company will begin selling the new Advisor M1 pistol in 2016. The new handgun is chambered for the classic .30 carbine cartridge and uses the same action as the M1 Carbine.

The Advisor pistols have a 12″ threaded barrel with a military-type muzzle device. Overall length on these guns is 21″. The guns use American walnut wood and ship with 15 round magazines. Unloaded, each gun weighs about 4.5 pounds.

Inland Manufacturing includes a military-style sling with each gun. The suggested retail price is $1,239.

I've always liked the 30 carbine, but I really never understood its purpose today. I mean it's not really my choice of cartridge for deer or anything larger, not terribly ideal for hogs, I'd rather use a 5.56 for coyotes and small to mid size varmint, just not sure the best purpose for it.

yea it would seem that 300blk is the better 30 caliber cartridge I still like the C&R look it has.

99% of the time I leave the house to go shooting, it's at paper. The 30 carbine would be a lot of fun at 50-100 yards.

What's the fun of just swapping the stock when you can do all this work for the same result.

Built this one out of a post-war commercial rifle, my dad's truck gun. It fits in a backpack folded, which my 7" 300 won't. I haven't had it on a chronograph, but I'd guess ballistically it's more like a pistol caliber carbine at this point.

I refuse to own a new 30 carbine. Although I want a specific carbine, it was my grandmother's brought back from the war by my grandfather. It was passed to an uncle who I offered to buy it from before he passed. I told him I would pay whatever his asking price was. He sold it to some other fuckhead and I have no idea where it is now. My uncle has since passed and it's gone forever. I won't speak ill of the dead but that cocksucker can burn in hell for all I care. I would have given him 2 grand for that rifle, no questions asked, all he would have said is I need money and I'd have taken care of everything.

I've head that these don't suppress worth a rats ass.

Still a very cool piece of history but I doubt that I'd find a place for it unless out of nostalgia.

They don't, I fired that SBR with my Specwar a few times and it was still pretty damn loud.

Goddamn mall ninjas and Chris Costa cocksucking Class III tactifags... can't leave anything well enough alone. Patton, Eisenhower, and Westmoreland are rolling in their graves. What's next, rails and forward grips for the Garand?

I'll probably be infractioned or banned for this post
