yeah asshole you are making my opinion based on nothing but hearsay and internet rumors look bad.
If a suppressor and possible hunting use is your plan, then 300 is a good option. Otherwise, I wouldn't bother with it and would just run 556.
BLACK AND BLUE! You could build in 300 BO for hunting suppressed and still run 5.56. I will bring my 300 BO set-up and can and let you try it out at the M&G!
Go with Colorblind Coatings here in Ringgold! They are fairly new and making a huge splash in the industry. They are actually working with Spikes on some things also. Here's a few they did for Spikes....
Stick with the 300 BLK more fun and quieter. Do the lower in a bead blast grey, stock, fore grip, and handgrip in OD and trigger in red and color fill in red oh and get a bead blasted barrel too. Well that's the way I would do it anyway. Have some fun with building it.
If you have a .30 cal suppressor, go with the .300 BLK.

22 can't make a fireball like the x39 eitherI hear ya, I was the same way for a while; but if you like the AR platform but don't like paying $7.00 for 20 rounds of .223/5.56, the X39 upper on the AR makes shooting the AR much more economical.
Granted, the same could be said for a .22 conversion in an AR, but if you prefer feeling manly, the x39 takes care of that as well
If you don't go 300 I would suggest x39. It is a fun one to play with in the AR platform, I currently have 3. With that being said I am actually building at least one in the 556 flavor. But am in debate if I want to do a 300 also. So in for more info on options.
Oh by the way I absolutely love that lower. With that being said have you considered getting a custom airbrush job on it. I know that could potentially make it a safe queen, but damn it could look good.
