I have searched and searched for an answer. People across the internet say under 100. Some say under 60. I don't know. But like my buddy Vanilla gorilla said "It is bigfoot riding a unicorn." I love my M4 H2O but I would really like to know how rare it actually is and Benelli will not confirm or deny the actual numbers that hit the market before the ATF shut them down.

So I am here looking for the answer. If you know or have any knowledge of the actual number then please post it here.

Thanks guys.

Correct me if I'm wrong or unknowledgeable but these are rare and sought after because 922r doesn't apply?

Why are they exempt?
They were imported and then put together in the US and NP3 coated and refinishing a gun is considered manufacturing by the ATF. So they were manufactured in the US on that basis. ATF decided after so many were sold? That they would no longer allow this process so only a few are legal to own in this configuration.
