I picked up a Rossi 357 lever gun today at the LGS for $325. I've been wanting one for awhile, but never really looked at Rossi. Hopefully it's decent.

I've had a Rossi M-92 lever action for about 18 years now. 20" carbine in .45 Colt. I've used it heavily over the years, mainly in Cowboy Action Shooting. Never let me down and very accurate.

You change any springs or do anything to slick it up beyond shooting it?

Slicked up all the moving parts by hand. Factory springs. It was a tad rough when new.
