Brother had 2, one would have an issue with closing the slide. took 2 hands, the other , one finger. Sent for repair they replaced the slide same issue. Swapped slides and it followed the slide.Called them back and they said tuff poopies. He traded it in.
other than that he likes em. Just test the slide closure for ease of use before you buy

So far I haven't shot anything in this category that I prefer over the Ruger Lc9s Pro.
Man that 2.0 grip is so rough it would be like 60 grit sandpaper on my love handles.Agreed. Although I've been wanting to give a Shield 2.0 a try.

Take some fine sandpaper and remove it...easy peasy. I've modified the crap out of my Lc9s frame to make it more comfortable for me.Man that 2.0 grip is so rough it would be like 60 grit sandpaper on my love handles.
That is about the ugliest thing I've seen today.I'm thinking of getting a shield. Found a good price on a FDE 9mm w/ safety (I know, I know, but it's what they have) but am also kinda liking the idea of a .45. I'd like to ultimately turn it into an ASP 2.0.
Thoughts? Also, if any of you have a shield you want to get rid of let me know.

Really? You wouldn't pay $500 more for than than a Sig P210 target? For shame, lol. It looks like it was an NcStar/Taurus collaboration. That is about the ugliest thing I've seen today.
I have been putting talon rubber grips on everything lately anyways so that doesn't really concern me too much.

Maybe, but it's super easy to knock the rough edges off of polymer. At that point it may be easier and cheaper to find the first gen shield since the grip texture is one of the biggest differences.
