Have you tried shooting cast lead 147's thru a cleanable can? I am finding those projectiles for about 7c each. That works out to about $5.50 a box for subsonic 9mm.

Why would you shoot cast lead? Shoot a coated bullet, almost as cheap as cast but no messy clean up
