Ok, I'm sure I could search this but I'm hoping for additional insight from y'all.

I want to SBR the Scorpion.

Exactly what steps do I need to take, and what potential pitfalls are there with engraving, paperwork snafus, etc?

The fucker is plastic, can I engrave the trust name into plastic and have it be valid with the ATF?

Technically you can engrave just about anything on the gun that can be defined as a receiver or barrel. Considering this isn't a gun with swappable uppers and lowers you're kind of free to engrave anywhere conspicuous

I'm waiting on a stock kit & compliance parts.

Meanwhile, I had already made a stock adapter for it, back in May '15. Others have come out with similar, but not exactly the same idea.
