He built his lower half today. Still gotta get his barrel threaded before we assemble his upper. Spike's Calico Jack Lower, S&W M&P LPK, A2 fixed stock (for now), CMC 3.5# single stage flat trigger, ambi safety, SET Magpul Pmag. Gotta order his ambi mag release.
Why do you hate your dad giving him that fugly and cumbersome A2?
I like the A2 stocks! And I probably have a magpul MOE, tube, buffer, and spring if you want to trade for an adjustable.
You are sick. I swore off those damn things after I got out. Trying to shoot with an A2 when wearing an iotv and your kevlar is tough.
He actually mentioned possibly getting an adjustable, but I think I'll trade him myself. I like A2's also. I'm wanting to build one for CMP. Even though I know adjustables are CMP legal now.
Yeah- I could see that. I shoot off the bench at the gun club. And I hate collapsible stocks (including CTRs) that tear whiskers out of my face. The only collapsible that worked well is the Ergo 93. And those are heavy, complicated, and expensive.
He looks like the type of guy that deserves a Nightforce scope too.

I look like the kinda guy who deserves some LightForce 230mm HTX Hybrids! Hook a po nigga up! I can't afford the $1,600 for the pair. I don't want to buy some poverty KC Slimlites.
Man, we did not get a chance to compare the Armaspec captured buffer against the JP buffer at the m&g. I put 30 rds through it and it ran flawless and definitely a nice difference.
It’s coming together well. He seems to be happy with the progress so far. I enjoy the A2 fixed stock. I have one as well. Also I agree with @dial1911 but I prefer the SLR or SLK on my builds. No whisker pulls lol
He's loving it. The CMC trigger is really nice too. It's just a single stage, but it's a NICE single stage.

I need to work on my M16A4 SDM clone gun... Nothing wrong with a A2 stock. Of course, I won't be doing anything while I'm in NJ.
