Econ Smith & Wesson to Change Company Name

Smith & Wesson voted to change their company name to American Outdoor Brands Corp to better reflect the diversity of their products. While the brand name Smith & Wesson will remain as a firearms brand name, the company will take on what is obviously a more generic feel.

S&W firearms will still be S&W firearms. Smith and Wesson bought a bunch of other companies. They are basically just restructuring the business to make American Outdoor Brands Corp the parent company and Smith and Wesson a subdivision of the big parent company.

Yup. Dont want the smith name on every product they sell because it will turn off certain groups. Makes good business sense and the guns will still be S&W.
