I need a sling for my AR. I think I want a 2 point with QD, preferably in coyote brown. Suggestions? It's going on a Mk18.

Quick adjustable or just a standard 2 point?

Shit I dunno the difference. Slings are one of those things I know the need and benefit, but have no real desire to dive I to researching too much

So, for what it's worth, I've had a couple types of adjustable padded slings and I've liked these so far as they've beat out others (yeah, they're 5.11/Vtac, and some may poo poo them), but I like the adjustability ...

As much as I hate to say it, Larry vickers slings are awesome.

I bought a 3-point sling on clearance at CDNN for very cheap. It's very similar to what I used in the military and what most people I knew used back then. They've fallen out of favor, I gather.

You could stop being such a bitch and just make a sling out of duct tape....

Highly suggest blue force gear. Got one of their custom slings for the scorpion. Great sling with unlimited options.

I have a blue force that I love. The one I got is the 2 to 1 I think it’s called. I can use it as a 2 point or there is a little metal piece on the sling I can clip the QD into to make it a one point.

I use a Magpul sling on the Galil. I don't have any real world experience, but the one class I took with it was enough for me.

Another vote for the Blue Force Gear VCAS, but I also picked up a couple of Magpul MS2 slings when someone had them on a closeout sale and they seem to work pretty well.

Gonna get the BFG padded for the 300blk. Hopefully it keeps my delicate shoulders from bruising.

I ran a Viking Tactics sling for many years and still have it. It's okay but it has two different things to either tighten or loosen the sling. The BFG Vickers Combat Applications Sling has one thing that you move one way to tighten, the other way to loosen. Simpler and better.

I also recently got the newer Magpul sling and it has a different type of slider but works on the same principle as the VCAS sling. At this point I think the Vickers is the best one I've tried.
