Exactly...when I get off work- I want to work in the garden, play with my son, watch Netflix, etc...
I hate having a dinner out with family interrupted by some jackass who saw me at the shop and now wants to talk about the Sig 320 for an hour, or someone stop me in Kroger asking about NFA procedure. They don't understand you have a life outside of guns. I'll usually politely tell them to come see me at the shop, but other times I have told them straightforward- "I'm having dinner with friends/family, this is my time."

I had the opportunity to go to SHOT last year, I just don't care about it. I didn't go to NRA either. I love guns, but after selling them and talking about them all day everyday at work- when I'm done...I'm fucking done. I'll read about whatever is new or handle one when it comes in from a distributor.

Surefire TLR-7 is what I am really excited about. Supposed to fit flush with a G-19 and have 500 lumens.

I ended up getting my APL-C back. I missed it even with its minimal lumens haha.

NRA is waaaaaay more fun if you’re not in the industry. If you’re IN the industry, then SHOT is the way to go, because that’s when you make those Key relationships.

At NRA, it’s for the average Joe that’s not in the industry. People are friendly and you have access to more stuff.

I just want to shot show swag. I will go to SHOT at least once in my life. The NRA show was fun and I can’t wait till it’s close again. I think next year it’s in TN.

I just looked. 2020 is in Nashville. That’s the only one in the next several years in driving distance. I could see making a weekend in Nashville for the NRA show.

$1k? I mean, I know chassis’s are expensive, but that’s the price of some of the top tier chassis’s. It better deliver. It looks good though. And I would be interested to see if they make a scaled down 10/22 one. I’ll add it to the list.
