The lone wolf adjustable glock trigger sucks. I did pretty well until the gun issues started, stage two I was 4 th of 12. The adjustment screws in the trigger started walking and the trigger stopped resetting properly and it would not cock the striker. At least that's my current theory.

But it was fun. I did better shooting on the move than I thought I would. I didn't have any procedurals or safety violations. I didn't hit any no shoot targets. I did completely miss one target, but other than that one every shot was either in the 0 or -1 zone. The guy running it was visibly nervous when I told him it was my first time shooting this type of competition but real friendly after a couple stages. He later told me some stories of some recent first timers that came, and I don't think he'll be talking about me in the same way if I don't show up next week.

Good deal man. Sorry to hear about your equipment troubles. Better to find out when it's only a game and not when a bad guy is running at you.

I'll be carrying a 642 for the near future.

I spent half a day at the range when the trigger arrived. Trying out all different weight springs and connectors and making adjustments. I put 300 rounds through it, and had convinced myself it was reliable when I left. I'm glad I shoot the hell out of my carry gun or I never would've known.

I was going to use my glock coupon to try out a 43. I'm thinking now I may get a 17 or 34 for a range toy to play with and put the 19 back to where it was 2 weeks ago. It has close to 8000 rounds through it and until yesterday I trusted it completely.
