These are the typical threads/pitches:
9mm: "American/Non-factory Glock" thread 1/2x28. Glock factory barrels will be metric- not compatible with 1/2x28. Lone Wolf, Storm, other non-factory barrels will probably be 1/2x28. Standard AR 9mm threads are 1/2x36 (I think- might have messed up the 36 thread per inch (TPI) number).
.300 BLK will be 5/8x(24??) really don't recall the thread pitch for that one.
.45ACP is a really weird number- it's some made up pitch and diameter to work with the old WWII 1911 barrels.
Turns out I'm not much help. I'll try to find this thread tomorrow and correct some of this.
Some 9mm barrel mfgs will thread 1/2x28 - adco and maybe ballistic advantage.
Most don't because they don't want you to mistakenly put a .223 muzzle device on a barrel with a larger diameter bullet like a .38 caliber 9mm. Bad things can happen when your bullet is larger than your muzzle device!
There are a couple of new cans on the market like the Silencerco hybrid and the Liberty Mystic x that can accommodate a range of calibers. I think I remember a new griffin can that is a "one size fits most" for many popular calibers. The name escapes me at the moment.
Do your research and make sure your suppressor will accommodate the calibers (and speeds) plus barrel length you want to use. For instance, I don't believe that many of the 223/555 cans on the market are warranties for barrels shorter than 10.5". Also, some cans are rated for subsonic 300 blk but again - bad things may happen if you slip up and shoot cheaper supersonic ammo through them.
